Welcome to our website! My name is Vivian Tokatlian founder of Bespoke Food Tours. I am half Greek, half Armenian and was born and raised in Athens. I fondly remember how, as a child, much of my time was spent with my grandparents and great-grandparents!
Their love, wisdom, and, of course, their delicious recipes were the everlasting gifts they left me. It was through sharing these moments that my passion for food and the story it tells developed.
Since my journey began, I have come to appreciate how food, culture and ecology are all interlinked and would now love to share my passion with the world!
The story behind Bespoke Food Tours
Throughout my years of living in and loving the beautiful city of Athens, I have had many different jobs, from working in exports on Greek artisanal products, in food development to being a tour guide. This gave me the opportunity to come closer to Greek artisan producers and learn about the deep and rich background of the Athenian food culture. Thus my passion for food tourism matured.
I quit my job working as a tour guide because I now felt that I had more to share and a deeper knowledge to impart than was required for this position. Something was missing!! So with a wealth of inspiration and a deep love for food, I felt ready to take the next step and create my own small business, celebrating the food, the culture and the people who make it happen!
