A private, tailor-made tour around the most scenic neighbourhoods of Athens. A morning walk through Plaka, under the shadow of the Acropolis.

Discover an area of peace and serenity, whitewashed houses and narrow alleys created by islanders 150 years ago. A pleasant stroll as we taste our way through traditional local shops, discovering vibrant, colourful markets and the best hidden food gems.

During our walk we will talk about the origins of the recipes. You will have the opportunity to become familiar with the old traditional way of living through this unique gastronomic experience.

No. To ensure the ultimate foodie experience, I only select the best eateries based on quality. I support family-run businesses exclusively, and I pay for all tastings myself. I do not accept commissions or kickbacks, which ensures honesty, authenticity, and ethical tourism.

A generous amount! Depending on the tour, you will enjoy between 15 to 30 food tastings—equivalent to a full, multi-course meal. Beverages (water, coffee, wine, and other spirits) are also included. You will definitely not leave hungry or thirsty, I promise!

Yes, depending on the tour. Wine, spirits, or traditional Greek beverages are often part of the tasting experience. Please note that alcohol is only served to guests aged 18 and over.

The default tours are conducted in English or Greek.

Yes. Restrooms are available at several of the tasting locations throughout the experience.

While the tours are designed to be relaxed and accessible, there is a fair bit of slow-paced walking involved. Athens can be hot and some streets may be uneven, so comfortable walking shoes are a must. Please refrain from wearing flip-flops, as pavements can occasionally be wet or slippery.

Bring comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sunglasses, a hat, and a big appetite! Everything else is taken care of.

The experience goes on! Athens is beautiful in the rain, but please come prepared with an umbrella or a waterproof jacket.

Yes! Private, tailor-made food experiences are available for individuals, couples, groups, or families. These are perfect for celebrations and special occasions.

 Tours begin promptly, so please try to arrive on time. If you are delayed, contact me immediately. While I will always try to help you catch up, the group may need to proceed to stay on schedule.
